👋 Hi, I’m Long Nguyen!

I’m currently a PhD Candidate at the School of Electrical Engineering and Robotics, Queensland University of Technology (QUT), supported by a QUT-CSIRO collaborative research scholarship. I am fortunate to be supervised by Dr. Kien Nguyen Thanh (QUT) and Prof. Peyman Moghadam (CSIRO Robotics). My research lies at the intersection of 3D vision and robotics, with a focus on developing neural field methods for efficient 3D perception and scene understanding.

Prior to this, I earned my Master’s degree in Computer Science and my Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at the School of Information and Communication Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Vietnam, under the supervision of Prof. Huynh Thi Thanh Binh. During that time, I worked on evolutionary algorithms for combinatorial optimization problems on graphs.
